for founders ready to book the intake call — thirty minutes, no pitch.

Tell us your runway, your raise timeline, and where the reporting currently breaks. We map it live on the call, and if a fractional CFO isn't what you need yet, we'll say so plainly. Reply usually lands within one business day.

request an intake call

Give us a sentence or two on stage, runway, and whether a round is on the horizon. That's enough to prep the call properly.

By appointment only — we'll reply with two or three call slots that fit your week.

four things that make thirty minutes count

01

your current runway number

Even a rough one — cash in the bank divided by monthly burn. We'll pressure-test how you got there and where it's likely wrong.

02

the last board pack

Whatever you sent investors most recently, in any state. It tells us more about the reporting gap than a polished deck would.

03

your raise timeline

When you expect to open a round, at what stage, and the target size. Even "not sure yet" is a useful answer for scoping.

04

who owns the numbers today

Founder, bookkeeper, an ops hire, a spreadsheet no one trusts? Knowing this shapes which of the three engagements fits.

before you write in

the questions we get before the first call

01

is the intake call a sales pitch?

No. It's thirty minutes to map your runway, raise timeline, and reporting gaps. If a fractional CFO isn't the right move for your stage, the call ends with that said plainly — no follow-up sequence.

02

how soon can an engagement start?

Two weeks from intake, typically: the call, then a two-week diagnostic of your ledger, model, and cap table, then on the desk from the first monthly cycle. Board- or raise-driven timelines can move faster when the diagnostic is clean.

03

are the engagements really month-to-month?

Yes — the monthly CFO and board & reporting engagements bill month-to-month with thirty days' notice to cancel. No annual lock-in. The fundraise engagement is a fixed one-time project scoped to your round.

04

do you work with teams outside Nashville?

The desk is in Nashville, and the work is remote-first — the close review, cash model, and board pack land the same whether you're across town or across the country. Central Time hours, on your board and raise weeks.

send the runway number and the last board pack. we'll bring back the honest read.
